Down under in Australia, there is a bay called Eggs and Bacon Bay. It can be found in Tasmania and was named after a regional wildflower. It is rather unusual to have a wildflower called eggs and bacon. Its petals are a curious mix of the sunny yellow of egg yolks and the deep red color of bacon.
Has anyone heard of this bay or the wildflower before? Perhaps our Australian friends have seen the bay and the flowers.
This is the first time I’ve heard of this place. A little strange name. 😊
this is not a place I have heard of, nor do I know about the flower. Very cool!!!
I have never heard of this but we have a fruit Canistel which is also called egg fruit as it tastes exactly like the sweetened egg yolk.
