Sunken forest

This is a simple black and white shot that I am most amazed by, even though I shot it myself!  What you are looking at IS a forest – a raintree forest – that was intentionally flooded to create the Kenyir Lake dam.  Kenyir Lake lies in Terengganu, Peninsular Malaysia, and is the largest man-made lake in South East Asia at 260,000 hectares.  On this occasion, it was raining heavily and the light mist lent a haunting atmosphere to this shot.
