While my sunflowers don’t seem to be as big as in years past, they are beautiful nonetheless. Here are some pictures of the first one to bloom.
The sunflowers are definitely a favorite of the bees. This bumblebee is all covered with pollen.
The sunflower seeds themselves haven’t fully formed, but I like how densely clustered the center of the flower is when it first opens.
I still have several sunflowers that have yet to bloom, so I may inundate you with some more sunflower pictures later.
