Spanish sparrow (Passer hispaniolensis subspecies transcaspicus).
It is a small bird of the Sparrows /Passeridae/ family.
In appearance and behavior very similar to the house sparrow, which is being mistaken.
The nest has the typical spar shape of a ball with a hole on the side. It is well braided and covered with fluff.
Forms and noisy colonies 🙂
I repeatedly tried to photograph them on the fields, but they noticed me – they were flying away!
I found this colony in a nest of storks.
Apparently this is the place where they can be shot without hiding!
