Saturday's Critters – in Action

Yesterday I spent about 3-4 hours pushing my husband in a wheelchair at the Auckland Zoo.

I did manage to capture some action shots.

The Thumbnail being the New Zealand Antipodes Island Kakariki.

Really enjoyed it but was tired afterwards.

All of these are unique birds native to New Zealand but in most parts are endangered birds.

#2 New Zealand Saddleback

Some bird sanctuaries have these birds..

#3 Antipodes Island Kakariki

This bird was in an enclosure on it's own

  1. Well, Suny, my husband had a shoulder operation but his walking is slow and he gets a sore back. He is recovering from a shoulder replacement operation. He was born paralysed on one side after the operation things took their time to improve. This happens improvements in small degrees.
