A Rose and A Bee ~ Story

First of all each year I am amazed that my roses in Dustin’s (and my Dad’s) garden continue to bloom through October. And I have never seen bumblebees in my roses. This apparently happens sometimes at the end of the summer season when there are no other flowers around. He was trying to gather pollen from a bloom that has none. Kind of sad to see but I captured it as I have never seen bees in my roses.

  1. Not always my favourite among flowers, but sometimes roses are “just right”. You’ve photographed these late pink ones beautifully – especially that bud 🙂 I found a red one in December once a few years ago! Thanks for sharing these shots from your special garden, Carol.

    • I know Norman, and this is my first rose bush to ever grown. I prefer the red ones and when I bought this one, I was told it was red, but it’s ok. I can plant more! They are special and thank you for viewing and always enjoy your words.
