Red squirrel.
The squirrels are mostly active during the day. In winter they do not fall into hibernation, but in cold weather they remain in their nest for days.
Adults build several nests, tree height.
They are usually built from dry twigs, lined with moss, noise or grass.
Sometimes they use cavities in the trees. Squirters often change their nests when they are filled with parasites.
Although they are cowardly animals and live singly, a couple can accommodate a few in order to warm each other.
The cute creature looks very attractive in your photo.
What a beautiful creature! 🙂
akai risu wa sugoi (the red squirrel is great)
I’m glad you like the picture : )))
Lovely photo of this squirrel, I once saw a Grey Squirrel in Hyde Park in 1982 a very long time ago. We don’t get squirrels in New Zealand
But you have other animals that we see only in the zoo. Nature is unique to you! My friend lived in New Zealand for a while and was fascinated!
How beautiful. Have never seen one, but have seen the orange colored fox squirrel.
In this park has this kind : )
Love this-beautiful squirrel-I have lots of gray squirrels-feed them every day.
This uses a bird feeder and its paws were covered in the husks of sunflower : )))
A very interesting kind of squirrel
They are indeed many and varied
