Red Milkweed Beetle – Family Cerambycidae : Tetraopes tetrophthalmus
The beetle was found on a milkweed leaf in someone’s garden.
Editing was done with ACDSee. I adjusted the lighting, increased the contrast, clarity and vibrance and sharpened it a bit.

Do you get the Large Milkweed Bug and the Small Milkweed Bug also? I vaguely remember seeing them at the Dunes.
i remember the large bug but honestly, it has been 9 years. Memories fade.
