Placebo Effect

Today I was reading an article in a magazine about the health benefits of honey. I was pretty impressed until I got to number five on the list. Number five made me uncomfortable with the credibility of  the of entire article.

I just can not imagine that honey can help with memory.  I read the paragraph several times. I really wanted it to be correct.

In the end I had to toss out the whole article. I wasn’t convinced that they were just not tweaking research selling the placebo effect to have you purchase every expensive raw, organic honey. It might be great for many things, but selling the memory pitch lost them the sale and respect.

If I am going to use a placebo it should be tab water. That is not too pricey.
