I think that our personalities – just like this wisteria – continue to unfold every day of our lives. If we choose to grow, we find a bit more of our true selves – the parts that still have the ability to surprise even us – each new day; and each new day we get the chance to react differently, to react better to a situation or person along our path. The wisteria can take days to unfold to their true beauty; we take years. We take wonderful years of faith, pain, self acceptance, truth, kindness, grief, selfishness, worth, dashed hopes and dreams fulfilled, love and joy. Hold on tight for the roller coaster and keep arms and legs inside the car. I can’t wait to find out what is around the next turn.

great
I agree with you, and find I have evolved into a very deep individual as I age because of the circumstances of life. Beautiful thoughts and photo.
So true! I find it’s only in my fourth and fifth decades that I have truly become my own person and not a mere reflection of what others wanted me to be.
beautiful
Hood cparison here. Wisteria compares well with human life. It unfolds, just as you said.
