Orchidaceae

Orchidaceae.

This flower is raised by my colleagues at office!

Until recently it looked like three sticks and four leaves sticking out of the pot.

I definitely thought he would not survive!

And here, a few days ago, the first blossoms appeared.

I had no idea what color they would be.

And here they are – white, with something like a butterfly in the middle!

  1. The Orchidaceae are a diverse and widespread family of flowering plants, with blooms that are often colourful and fragrant, commonly known as the orchid family. Along with the Asteraceae, they are one of the two largest families of flowering plants.
