Love ItLove It

One Day at a Time…

Take life one day at a time, many have written their variations to this quote.

I thought I would use it to show you my day off work last week in photographs. Some of you might have caught my list story asking you which sunrise you liked the most here https://virily.com/other/one-of-those-mornings/

You picked this one.

I asked so I could find which one people here liked the best and to use it for a cover for this story, Thank you all!

I mentioned in the previous post that I was drawn to this dawn by the loud noise of the crows flying over head and landing in a tree right outside the door.

Here is the second photo you chose, and the crows in the distance. What a great morning it was!

There were so many crows! Did you ever see the old movie, “The Birds” by Alfred Hitchcock? I felt like I was in the set. lol Notice on the top of this frame, you see my roof.. They are very close.

Caw, caw, caw, hiss, rattle, purr, click, caw caw

The noticed me, they do not like Paparazzi! I haven’t yet figured out how to get written consent..

Okay enough of the crows. Meika, my wolfdog was needing to get out and run, chase rabbits and swim, so we headed down to the creek nearby. It has been so dry lately with no rain in months I thought this would probably be the best area to take her.

Here she is running down a culvert that had been tagged. I thought the message fit her perfectly, you aren’t supposed to notice the blunt.

Here is more of that culvert and it’s tags. I kind of liked the blue.

I did manage to find some flowers still blooming like this sacred Datura I shared in the 365 challenge.

Here is one just opening. I love the pattern! Nature’s perfection..

This pretty yellow flower grows close to water. I am not sure what kind it is.

And these pale yellow flowers would of been missed if it weren’t for their bed of sage colored leaves.

These dark purple berries were ripe, but not even the bugs or birds will eat them. Best leave these alone, but they sure are pretty.

There is beauty in this dry arid landscape, you just have to look closely, and live one day at a time.

Here is another pretty flower in bloom right now, with Dale Wests take on this quote: Live one day at a time and make it a masterpiece.

And this photograph of what I believe is California Sunflowers and this quote by Dik Browne: Live one day at a time unless you can figure out how to live two. lol

And lastly this quote is a variation with the sunset..

Take one step at a time, a complex problem can be overwhelming even when you’ve got it all mapped out, but remember: The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Just focus on one small goal at a time. -Dr. Anil Kr Sinha

I hope you enjoyed my little walk. Have a great day and enjoy the outdoors!
