I took a lot of pictures while visiting Wisconsin. They’ve been getting a lot of rain, so everything was still very green. While it warmed up nicely each day we were there, the mornings were still quite cool. I don’t think the Monarch below had quite warmed up enough to fly the morning I came across it. Hence, I was able to take my time, get close, and focus instead of frantically pointing and shooting with the camera. Enjoy the greenery or scenery.
