Nature Tuesday – Wenderholm Regional Park

On Sunday we went for a drive, first up to Orewa and further up to Wenderholm Regional Park.

As a child I remember swimming here with chrystal clear water.

This day is the height of summer and you can see how dry the grass is. You look out to islands of the Hauraki Gulf, and it is a very large park with a beach front.

There is a variety of birds but they weren’t on show today.
