My daily photo – Hoverfly on Commelina flowers

As their common name suggests, hoverflies are often seen hovering or nectaring at flowers. They are often considered the second most important group of pollinators after wild bees. I took this photo in the Chindia park a few days ago. This small fly looks great on this blue commelina.  Hope you like it!
