Monsanto proves that RoundUp is toxic

Monsanto cannot see the forest from the trees.  Over the past couple of years, over 50,000 lawsuits have been filed from all over the world against the agricultural giant because people have contracted non-Hodgkins lymphoma (NHL) from using the weedkiller RoundUp.  Who knew that using RoundUp was worse than Gary Bettman (Bad NHL joke)?

Instead of settling the lawsuits, Monsanto have lost every RoundUp case so far at the circuit court level.  Instead of taking that L and moving on, Monsanto has appealed each and every case to the appellate courts.  In the appeals, Monsanto claims that glyphosate, the active ingredient in RoundUp, is not toxic enough to cause cancer.

However, their own video that is shown below proves that RoundUp is toxic.  The commercial was made around 2011.  The product is for RoundUp gel that was sold in the United Kingdom.  “Do you want cancer, old chap?”

Go to the twenty second mark in the video.  The caption below says, “Always read the label.  Contains glyphosate.  Use pesticides safely.”  Monsanto lets the customer know in the UK that RoundUp has glyphosate as one of its ingredients.  Why?  The reason why is that glyphosate is toxic.  If glyphosate was not a problem, then a warning would not have been placed in the caption.

Even though Monsanto warns the consumer about glyphosate in Great Britain, no warning about glyphosate is on the RoundUp label in the USA.
