Symphoricarpos albus is a species of flowering plant in the honeysuckle family known by the common name common Snowberry. In romanian language we call it Hurmuz. It is presented in the form of a shrub that rarely exceeds the height of 1 meter, with elastic and arched branches, with very small pink flowers grouped in raceme. The bell-shaped, rounded corolla is about 0.5 cm long. Fruits are white, fixed on the branches and after the fall of the leaves, until late in the winter. For this reason, the fruit is the most decorative part of the snowberry shrub, showing well and in contrast to the green leaves but also on bushes without leaves. In Romania, we find it in the hedge or as a ornamental shrub in parks. My previous posts
