Mosses are flowerless plants in the land plant division Bryophyta. There are about 12,000 species of moss. The vast majority of mosses are found in regions with high humidity in forests and marshes. In the forests, the mosses form a layer that retains rainwater, which leads to the maintenance of soil and air humidity, thus contributing to the development of other plants. Also, if we got lost in the woods, we can find our way with the help of mosses. Always they grow to the north on tree bark. For today I have chosen some macrophotos from my “Moss colection”. Beautiful combo of color, wow!
