This was taken when I was in Hawkes Bay visiting Cara., my Aunty.
I guess taking pictures of any flower is great….Or anything unusual.
I like the honey bees, and think that bees are essential to planet earth…..Honey has medicinal and antiseptic properties. In New Zealand we have the original Manuka Honey..

Poppies by themselves are beautiful but when bees are added to the scene it become magical.

I thought poppy is a flower that is made into drugs.
Not this poppy as far as I know, but then Alex, I can always be found wrong.
The poppy made into drugs we did use to grow, called the “Opium Poppy” and I am not sure if you can buy the flowers any more.
We just liked the red flowers…
