Long-tailed bushtit

Long-tailed bushtit (Aegithalos caudatus).

He loves deciduous and mixed forests.

Long-tailed bushtit it is a permanent resident of a place, and winter is wandering.

It feeds on small insects, larvae, worms and aphids, spruce, pine, willow seeds…

There is nothing remarkable about his song, but thanks to his beauty, trusting people and sociability, he is often kept at home.

He is quick to domesticate but does not live long in captivity.

It nests in trees or shrubs.
