Ladybug (Coccinellidae)
Includes over 5,000 species of the insect family common in most of the world, many of which have been the result of human displacement for plant protection purposes.
These beetles feed mainly on aphids, and they also scare off other insects with the unpleasant odor they release when they feel in danger.
Most ladybugs have oval, domed bodies with 6 short legs.
Depending on their appearance, they may be covered with spots, stripes, or no distinctive patterns.
I have seen more lady bugs this year than ever before. I even find them in my hair after gardening.
Last time I collected them with a vacuum cleaner from the ceiling in one of the rooms 🙂
New Account, same great pictures! 🙂
I am glad your new system worked!
I had to wait for a while to get through the “jury” 😉
well it was a good idea!
I see these a lot, I guess they are world wide insects. Great photo.
Since the insects appeared millions of years ago, the species has not disappeared, and they are easily spread, especially in today’s highly developed transport
Familiar faces, it seemed like they were scattered everywhere.
Last year was much more! A real invasion!
Do you know where they usually move from, then to have some party in your country?
I was not interested, but every year is different
