Ladybug (Coccinellidae) 

Includes over 5,000 species of the insect family common in most of the world, many of which have been the result of human displacement for plant protection purposes. 

These beetles feed mainly on aphids, and they also scare off other insects with the unpleasant odor they release when they feel in danger. 

Most ladybugs have oval, domed bodies with 6 short legs. 

Depending on their appearance, they may be covered with spots, stripes, or no distinctive patterns.

I think my sister brings good luck! I was out on a walk with her and ta-dah! We saw ladybugs and quite a few of them on one of the plant!!

I was lucky that I had brought along my lens … and I managed to get some “macro” …

Ladybug are so beautiful!!
