Kutikuti Contest Entry #3 – Dark-Throated Oriole

I don’t know personally if this bird known as dark-throated oriole is still in our place in particular or in our country in general. It is so sad that our mountains are almost denuded. This kind of bird wouldn’t have the place to stay or where their habitat is used to be in the forest.

But anyway I admire the resourcefulness of this student who created this bird as his entry piece in Kutikuti.

Kutikuti  is a local or dialect term for do it yourself craft using recyclable or indigenous materials. This is in connection with our recent observance of Environment Week, the city government sponsored this kind of craftsmanship by creating the endangered birds in our locality in particular or in our country in general.
