Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) is one of the largest pulp and paper companies in the world who also has a policy promising to protect and preserve forests and human rights along with, protecting from carbon rich morass lands. From the day one of the problems started to occur, this paper company has hundreds of unresolved social conflicts with local communities living dangerously with their lost hope.

Therefore It’s absolutely the right time for Asia Pulp & Paper to keep its promises, and to act towards creating real change for communities and as well as for the forest.
The said company has taken steps to address and meet these issues, including developing a particular policy designed to wipe out some shocking practices, and provide restoration for near by communities who already have been badly experienced harm in the past. It is appreciable but in fact the company need to do more towards it soon for the sake of human kind to protect and secure the communities.
These Helpless and Hopeless Communities in Indonesia in the heart of Forest Lands who sadly just have been seeing their own land and even their livelihoods have plundered and therefore the company as per it’s earlier promises need to deliver as soon as possible for the sake to restore Humanity and Humankind.

APP has it’s previous records of banishment, daunting and violence, originated decades ago of plantation enlargement on the heart of community-owned lands.
Therefore AAP’s as usual ‘slow and steady wins the race ‘ formula will not work this time. The Company need to accelerate it’s works based on company’s Promises for these helpless communities. An only forest friendly organization ‘RAIN FOREST ACTION NETWORK’ extended it’s helping hand to save the forest as well as the livelihood of Local Communities.
