Monday Little Miss and I went over to the creek just behind our house, saddened by what we found. Piece by piece, this Peaceful Place is being destroyed by people who just do not seem to care. We literally found bags of trash in the stream, it saddened us.
Just a few months ago we had come here so I could take pics of Little Miss amongst the flowers, and it was nowhere near like this. I knew that both Little Miss and I wanted to go in and clean some of it up, but the possibility of drug users leaving needles stopped us. I could not risk Little Miss or myself being hurt, and sadly around that time more personnel were being sent to the Detweiller Fire, which is now sixty five percent contained, but sadly people have been stealing equipment from those working on the fire which absolutely sickens me.
We had gone Blackberry picking so Little Miss was sure to feed some to the fish that remained. She loved watching them devour the berries.
