Took this while we were berry picking Monday and played around with different filters until I found this one.
I am just glad the Blackberries are plentiful this year, they aren’t all ripe yet, but the ones that were were delicious.
It’s been to hot to go back to the creek but Little Miss and I may go berry picking Monday, because she wants Blackberry smoothies. I can’t say I have any objections Lol!

This reminds me of my childhood days in the early 1960s, when we had forest across the street from us. We used to go and pick the blackberries and raspberries out of the bushes and eat them. So much fun. Although today, I don’t think that the quality of them is the same. Probably have to wash the chemicals out first.
These are actually wild, no chemicals but we always wash anyway!

I’ve been picking and freezing some blackberries at my place lately. My arms have a lot of little scratches all over. Blackberry and peach pie time of summer. 🙂
