In Dustin's Garden ~ Raindrop Roses

I recently started a blog about what is happening Dustin’s memorial garden in my backyard. There are many things going on and I would like to share each one with you. Yesterday we had a nice afternoon rain shower. Afterwards I went out to check on the baby bluebirds and also to get photos of the roses. They are so beautiful, especially after the rain. The raindrops really highlight the beauty of any flower. Don’t you agree? The rosebush continues to grow bigger each year. I am amazed as I was always told they are hard to grow. As long as you deadhead (cut off the dead blooms), you allow more blooms to appear. Other than that just make sure it gets enough water and lots of sunshine. I am considering getting another one to plant in the garden.

I will continue with updates on the events happening in my busy garden.

Here is the first blog entry in this series if you are interested Rosebuds.

  1. I couldn’t comment on the individual photos. I tried.. Anyway, I love the first one, so many drops and such a wonderful cluster. That bush sure looks healthy, all is needed is sun, water and the love you show it. Yes, by all means get another. What color were you leaning towards?

  2. Every year the flowers in Dustin’s garden are very beautiful. I love the drops they make the picture magnificent. I do not know why I can not comment on every picture, maybe there are some changes. I could not get in directly, as I did another time. I had to use my Facebook account to log in.
