For many years I had a Hibiscus plant on my deck. It was a tropical plant that thrived in the sunshine. And it was in the same family as my Rose of Sharon. I would leave it out from early spring through fall. Then I would bring it indoors and it would continue blooming through the winter. It grew to over six feet tall. The butterflies, bees, grasshopper, hummingbirds, all the critters seem to enjoy the big saucer-sized blooms.
The photo below was edited to create sort of a blur look to the bud. One of those boring days during the summer. It was amazing the amount of blooms this tree produced. The grasshoppers finally got to it and I had to say goodbye to the Hibiscus. But I will get another one soon.
Sharing the beauty all around us. Nature has many things to offer. Many little things to be thankful for. Don’t forget to enjoy those special moments… the little things in life. We never know what the next moment holds.
