Halosat Has Just Left The Building!

Space remains a truly fascinating subject and activities on-board of the space station is no less intriguing to me. If you are as curious as I, enjoy checking out this video clip, submitted by space reporter, Hanneke Weitering of an interesting time-lapse video received today, July 19, 2018: which is the view from outside the International Space Station, captured for your information, of a NanoRacks “cubesat” deploy-er as it spits out a small satellite, for deployment into low Earth orbit just above Australia on its cubesat mission, the deployment is known as Halo-sat, and it will help scientists look for “missing” dark matter. which they do, by studying X-ray emissions from a halo of hot gas surrounding the Milky Way. —
