Fall in Colorado

Autumn is an interesting time of year in Colorado. While the days are getting shorter, you can still have summer-like weather. This creates some confusion amongst the plants and flowers. While some have long since withered and gone to seed, others are just beginning to bloom.

I took all the pictures below on the same day. Yet, some pictures will remind you of Fall, and other images harken back to warm Summer days. Now, if I could just get these blustery fall winds to calm down, I could get all kinds of cool pictures. Scroll down, and check out Colorado on a late September afternoon.
