Eurasian nuthatch

This bird was the only one I managed to shoot on Sunday!

Suddenly it got cold, and it was as if someone had turned off the birds’ sounds in the park…

Only the cold north wind was blowing in the branches!

Eurasian nuthatch or wood nuthatch (Sitta europaea).

Highlighted forest species with preference for old deciduous and mixed forests of any type, rich in food sources and hollow trees.

It is also found in coniferous forests, city parks, orchards and semi-open habitats.
