There’s a small and not too far from our house where you can escape suburban life. It’s nice to have a somewhat wild area so close to home. I would take the kids down there a fair amount when they were younger. While there weren’t as many ducks there compared to some years, I did spot a turtle. Plus, there were a few dragonflies and damsel flies that were nice enough to pose for me.
