Airbus has launched it’s new modern plane, that is serious competition to the Boeing 787. It is a long-range aircraft that can travel up to 15,000 kilometers. It enough to fly between New York and London 2.5 times without refueling.
The XWB stands for “extra wide body”. As a wide body aircraft, it offers a passenger capacity for up to 325 passengers, divided in 3 classes with the widest seats. The 21 century’s innovative design offers maximum efficiency and comfort. The wingspan is 64.75 meters, with overall length of 66.89 meters. This aircraft had it’s first flight on June 14, 2013. Finnair is the first European airline to fly it.

Why is A350 XWB the ultimate aircraft?
It is known for being eco friendly. Furthermore, this new modern aircraft has lowered the CO2 emission for 25%, compared to the ordinary ones. Airbus and Rolls Royce partner to deliver integrated parts for this high tech metal bird. With its state-of-the-art Rolls-Royce engine is able to outperform competitors in terms of fuel economy, emissions and overall efficiency.
The A350 XWB is a more efficient and quieter aircraft thanks to its advanced wing design. It uses the perfect design from nature. It’s the revolutionary adaptive wing design – inspired by birds. This helps to achieve maximum aerodynamic efficiency by optimizing wing loading, reducing drag and lowering fuel burn.
Qatar Airways was the first airline company that introduced the new modern A350 in it’s fleet.One of these birds costs amazing $290 milion.
