Beauty Personified

I have always written on the web, but over the last year or two I’ve began to publish some of my photographs.

It’s a learning process for me; my father gave me an old mirror-less digital SLR camera and basically created a monster. I began to photograph anything and everything and before I knew it I had thousands of below par photographs.

I took a step back and began to really focus on how to use the camera and how to create a decent composition. I decided to focus on flowers to begin with as they were readily available, but also could produce some stunning images.

I am close to being an average photographer now, and I am learning that texture and color are very important. Hopefully over the coming months and years you’ll see me develop (no pun intended) into a decent photographer.
