Bayer to appeal $2 billion verdict in Roundup cancer lawsuit

source

Bayer, which owns Monsanto, will appeal the 2 billion dollar settlement that went against them as a California couple ended up obtaining non-Hodgkins lymphoma by using the weed killer RoundUp over the past thirty years.  This lawsuit is the third one that Bayer has appealed over the past year because of the exorbitant amount of money in the settlement.  As of now, there are over 13,000 cases currently in the US courts in regards to complications after using RoundUp.  If you use RoundUp, then wear as much safety gear as possible so that this weed killer will not give you cancer.

  1. I only knew Bayer was a pharmaceutical company. Not a nice thing to hear that Bayer owns a company that produces poison that makes people sick.
Oh wait, that’s just a conflict of interest! Silly me, it all makes sense now. Phew. ?

    • Bayer bought Monsanto a few years ago before all of these lawsuits began occurring. I guess they bought Monsanto so that they could have people feeling sick from using their products so that they can then take Bayer aspirin.

    • The problem is that a person could use all of the safety precautions and it will still cause cancer. Therefore, the info on the bottle is incorrect. Plus, the FDA approved the stuff without having Monsanto fix the issue. The ingredients in RoundUp have the same components as in Agent Orange. Agent Orange doesn’t break down and is still affecting people in Vietnam – ’til this day! ’til this day!
