Below are some random shots of the pretty stuff near me.
These trees right out my back door, I think they may be Rainbow Eucalyptus. The bark gets pink peels leaving such pretty slight shade of green color.
Here is a closer look.
Below you have this… It fell in the last storm we had. It is also a Eucalyptus.
Here is one of the slabs they cut. No wonder it was so big. That’s three trees grown together.
This is a very large boulder covered in Lichen.
This Carrion Flower just starting to open.
Carrion flowers, also known as corpse flowers or stinking flowers, or “heinous guytraps” are flowers that emit an odor that smells like rotting flesh. Luckily I could not smell it from where I was standing.
The one below keeps its water in the center. I am not sure of the name.
This wild Agave was taking over the hill. It was splendid!
Here is a back lit shot of it. Camera held head high pointing up.
This is a epiphyte plant that grows on the surface of another plant and derives its moisture and nutrients from the air, rain, water or from debris accumulating around it. Epiphytes differ from parasites in that epiphytes grow on other plants for physical support and do not necessarily negatively affect the host.
And I leave you with this sunset taken right outside my back door.

Very nice. I especially like the Rainbow Eucalyptus.
This is the first year they have really had the bright colors. They are around 10 to 14 yrs old.

Still pictures are great. The flower in brown as a star has a bad smell. And from my centenary my mother was doing medicine. To clear the blood.
Oh really? That is one cool fact I didnt know. Boy, I bet that medicine tasted bad.

Thank you! I shouldve watered before I took the picture, If I would’ve the green bark under the peeled part really gets bright, alongside the pink.
