Walk My Country Roads

These are photos taken on one of the nature walks we always took in the suburbs of Riga, Latvia. Usually, there were just the two of us and incredible things to see all around. It was great in any season.

the large fir tree right across from our house and an incredible sky as we begin our walk.

Common let's walk down this country lane.

Did we take a wrong turn and wind up in Egypt? No, these are some sandhills along the way with odd-shaped trees.

Natural artwork along the way. These two tree sculptures look like they're dancing,

Occasionally don't forget to look up and see incredible things like the flying pig clouds and it is gorgeous.

these beautiful birches I really loved and I fondly called them the Birch Brothers.

Finally, at the end of the day, we come home to this lovely sunset right from our own garden.
