Village Palangan – Iran 

Palangan, which means in Persian leopard is a village in Tangi valley of the river Var, located in the mountains near the border with Iraq. In the village live 194 families, or 821 resident, all of which are accommodated in houses for which the village and became known throughout the world. Almost all the houses are built in Palangana ‘one another’, respectively, are built on steep cliffs, so the roof of the house under the house serves as a yard above.
