Transylvania or Translivanija the historical-geographical region located in present-day Romania. Place of beautiful natural scenery and a very interesting and turbulent history has become famous far beyond the borders of Romania after stories (mostly exaggerated and fictitious) about Count Dracula, who was born here in Translivnaji, in the town of Sighisoara, and who ruled with the cruelest possible methods of intimidation and punish their rivals.
