Just a few days back, I saw something here in Lubbock which had me a little salty. I told about it here, how I felt.
I can’t say if my post here on Virily had much of an effect on the city’s decision to pull the sign but I hope it did.
More than anything, though, it’s just vital to speak up when you see something wrong.
“Speak the truth, even if your voice trembles as you do so.”
Speaking the truth should help in some way.
I can relate to what that issue of having a sign in Spanish in our nation looks like because this is the U S A not my nation of birth Panama in the former Canal Zone where the traffic signs were bilingual.
You are right, it pays sometimes to let our opinions be heard. Beautiful sky by the way.
