The Wandering Spirit

After I awaken from a dream, it feels like my spirit has left my body in my sleep, only to go on an adventure then return by the time I awaken in the morning. It is kind of like a teenage child skipping out during twilight hours once their parents are asleep then returning before there parents awake.

When I wake up from that dream, I feel very grateful that I have at least woken up, or in this case my spirit has returned safely after wandering from my body. And as I think about the dream I had whether good or bad, thoughts trickle in my mind like, what if my spirit never returns one because it gets lost.

Ever wonder if the spirit is preparing you for a journey that you will see in the near future? Funny how the dream cannot be recollected entirely, yet it is relived in the future in the form of Deja Vu.
