The Two Little Birds

As it can clearly be seen that I love passion for birds. Being part of God’s creation, I am always inspired by the way these little creatures behave; the way they wake up early to just sing and thank God for His mercies. The sing good corals in the forest which gives better company to those who run to forests for prayers and meditation.

As the bible says Christian should emulate such creatures, they neither sow nor reap but the cannot go hungry even one day. us we are always entangled in the cares of the world. It’s a high time that we should emulate these creatures.

Why can’t we cast all our cares on God who cares for us? I learned a great lesson from these creatures and that’s why I have decided to share their photos here.

The photos were taken by me at the Dedan Kimathi University of Technology Conservancy.

Variable Sunbird

This bird is mostly dependent on natural honey for its food. It also eats some small insects especially at a time when feeding the young ones. It produces a small sharp sound as a mode of communication. This species is found in open woodland and cultivation areas.

White eyed Slaty Flycatcher

This bird is native to the African Highlands including the East African region. It is mostly absent in the east and north of our country - Kenya.
