The tulip / tulip … Netherlands   tulips are one of the first things that remind us of the Netherlands / Holland. Its climate is perfect for growing tulips, because they need a period of moderate cold. However, tulips do not come from the Netherlands. Their roots are in the mountains of Kazakhstan’s long road through Persia, China, Turkey and Belgium, through which they came to the Netherlands in 1593.
