Kelly and I bounced in love from the moment we met. The second I saw him, he was all there was. Except he was engaged to Tammy.
I pined for him a time, then got involved with Nick. As Nick and I heated up, Kelly and Tammy broke up. I’d see Kelly giving me the puppy dog eyes, the same eyes I used to pin on him.
I broke up with Nick, Kelly and Ialmost had a relationship, but Tammy came back. I moved on to Mickey. Tammy left Kelly and I broke it off with Mickey, and finally it was me and Kelly.
There were bumps in the road, but they were far less than the joy we had in each other.
We got engaged but events interposed so we called it off, but continued to be together. Marriage was somewhere ahead, and we lived as if it was on an approaching horizon.
