Grandchildren are a blessing and they have the ability to see life in a little different way than all of the “grown ups”. My grandchildren are completely aware that when I say “no”, it is non-negotiable. You don’t have to ask twice because the answer won’t change. The youngest one, who turns six tomorrow was trying to explain it to one of his friends. They were at my home and I had said no. Much to my surprise he asked if he could get on you-tube to help his friend understand. I was so intrigued, I said go for it.
This is what I saw.
Granted, it was not exactly what the song was about but, everyone seemed to understand that when Trenna says, no it “ain’t” maybe.
Children cannot understand what is right for him or what is wrong.
Children will not understand. They always want to get their way. Don’t allow them to.
It is hard being a child in this age of the pressure of growing up fast with the new technology.
