I am over the moon! It is great to receive something for doing something I enjoy doing.
In response is my garden rose, a small pink rose that we inherited from Great Uncle Harmon.
A family heirloom for me.
Great Uncle Harmon lived in a bach at Ruakaka beach. He had a row boat that our family used when staying there. He had a wonderful affectionate black cat.
He was totally active until the day he died. Even up on the roof doing repairs at 80 years. He was a marvellous man and he was kind.

I try to keep in track of my notifications and still swamped with those plus as many posts as I can a day, and it pays to read and comment on others posts. I don’t always have the time to spare
