Everything seemed to be going perfectly.
Brian and Ashley were dating, moving closer. Although he did see her look at Jack and sometimes saw Jack looking at Ashley, he told himself not to let it bother him.
He was liking Ashley more and more, and figured she was liking him.
Yet, there were times he believed he was a’rebound’ love, that Ashley was with him because she didn’t have Jack. Sometimes he thought she was with him to make Jack jealous.
The ‘sometimes’ became more than half the time.
Brian wanted to ask Ashley about Jack but thought pretending he didn’t notice was the wisest move at the moment.
They kept dating, and it was becoming a bit more serious. Brian was thinking of asking her to move in with him.
