Stressing Out Leads to Flu

Wednesday, May 30, 2018

I was stressing out all month because of things falling apart. First, my Panasonic fax/copier had suddenly stopped working. I noticed the cordless phone connected to it needed recharging, but it wasn’t recharging because the fax/copier wasn’t working. I hadn’t realized that and I order a new batter for my cordless phone from Amazon, which came fast, but it cordless phone still wouldn’t reach. So, I now realize it wasn’t a battery issue. It is the fax/copier.

Meanwhile, I kept busy with retouching my graphic novel and attending many Canon workshops, as well as occasional walking and hiking meetups. I also checked out another art gallery reception.

All of the sudden, my computer had gone into system recovery mode one morning. I decided to restart the computer, but it then went straight to system recovery. I didn’t know what to do but to start all over, back to Windows 7 default that came with the computer. The computer even warned me that I would lose everything on my hard drive. But what choice did I have. I installed that CDs that I had, but few stuff I wasn’t able to get back. I might just download stuff from the internet since stores to have computer programs anymore. Now, people just buy a card from the store, and they go on the internet to download the program. What a mess!

I still had the Microsoft Office 2010 that came with my Windows 7 and ASUS computer. But the whole process stressed me out because I was running around trying to figure out what is going on. It was a mess!

On May 16th, I had to drop off a ring at the jewelers to get it fix to my size.

On May 20th, I went through system recovery and reinstalling whatever I had.

On Monday, May 28th, I woke up with sore throat, and I realized I had become sick because of all the stress in my life. I usually become sick after stressful situations. During college years, I always had the flu after final exams. When I arrived home for the holidays, I was usually in bed for a week, getting bed rest and sleeping a lot.

I received a letter from Cox about phone upgrade. So, I called for an appointment because it appears to be mandatory for the homes in the area to have a new and improved box. I really hope it is improved and better than the old crap.

On Tuesday, May 29th, I still felt some body aches. So, I decided not to go on the Friday evening walking meetup. I don’t want to get worse.

On Wednesday, May 30th, I worked on retouching some pages. But I mostly tried to rest to recuperate from flu symptoms.

I suddenly remembered the weird full moon rituals and voodoo, as I wondered if there were any full moons this month. I searched it on the internet, and I noticed that there was a full moon on May 1st, May 29, and May 30. I noticed that I have been getting sick around full moons, which also happened in March.

I added a photo that I had on my iPhone of a sunset during walking meetup. It was at the Woodbridge Village community, which has two manmade lakes and many wildlife roaming around.
