A stranger helps pay a vet bill for a cat that was rescued from a fire

There is an old saying that goes “There is a silver lining in the dark cloud.”  In this case Michelle Dupont who became homeless when an apartment that she was living in was burned in a fire in Lynn Massachusetts earlier this month.

I am sure that even though Michelle is staying in a temporary home until she can come back from her current setback, one major financial hurdle that she had to endure has been cleared by the kindness of a woman who did not want to be identified as a donor to assist Michelle pay the veterinarian bill for her one year old Cat named Christopher who spent one week in an animal hospital recovering from the ordeal of the apartment fire.

The veterinarian bill to cure Christopher was $623 for his one week stay in an animal hospital. While Christopher’s owner Michele is looking for another place to stay, a loving couple is taking care of Christopher the cat for the time being.

The power of social media was instrumental is assisting Michele getting the money from a donor who does not want to be identified due to privacy issues.

Even though Michelle lost her home due to a fire which I do not wish on anyone, having her one year old cat cured and having a person who cared for her challenge of paying the veterinarian bill will lift her spirits to locate a new home and reunite with her pet cat in the near future.
