Splender of Fall

Seasons can be amazing. In my household fall half of the house thinks that fall just means that snow, cold and doom are coming quickly. The rest of us love the season where color goes from bright to drab. Trees become scary looking skeletons. Pumpkins and squash become a part of every meal. While it does mean cold and snow ahead it is a great reminder to enjoy the moment.

One of the things we love it the great leaf toss. Sometimes we get down on the ground and completely over ourselves with leaves and then come popping out. Other times we just toss them in the air and let them rain down on us.

Life gets better when you bring nature into creating memories and building relationships. My grandchildren, seeing that we are aging, promised they would push us out in wheelchairs to enjoy the leaves with the time comes. I don’t think that is coming any time soon and I am comforted that they want to share the memories with us. Use nature to bond.

What do you think?

  1. I think fall is a nice season. But I know where it leads. That’s why I always get depressed when it becomes fall. But right now, I am looking forward to actual spring. The winter had bled into spring now and it is so depressing.
